Mangaluru: Coronavirus - Retail sale suspended at central market

Mangaluru, Mar 25: Taking into account surge of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in neighbouring district of Kasargod, the district administration has decided to suspend retail sales at central market. Public will not be allowed at central market from Thursday, March 26.

However, proper arrangements have been made for public to buy from nearby grocery shops from 6 am till 12 noon.

The district administration has said that strict social distancing has to be ensured by the vendors failing which action will be taken. Public are advised to follow social distancing measures, it advised.

    receiving docks..dispensing.
    Various zone for :
    fish: meat: vegetables: fruits etc..
    A distinct.
    Cleaning the fish is like in the hospital check SHARJAH MARKET in UAE.
    fish needs to be covered with ice constantly..
    to keep fresh and clean. till sold.
    Health /Food inspectors to be constantly on rounds....to keep the health check.

    Please also provide the names of the grocery stores near the Central market area, that are allowed to remain open to sell these fruits and vegetables, so that we can go directly to the stores.
