Coronavirus - Flights to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar from Mangaluru airport suspended

Mangaluru, Mar 17: As a control measure against the fast-spreading coronavirus pandemic several flight services from the Mangaluru International Airport are suspended temporarily.

Giving clarification on the matter, Air India official of Mangaluru division said, "Several flight services are suspended in accordance with the instructions of government of India. Air India service to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar are stopped with immediate effect.

“The officer of Air India confirmed that Air India flight services to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat will continue as before,” he said.

Air India Express flights IX-889/890 Mangaluru-Bahrain-Kuwait-Mangaluru is withdrawn till March 31, IX 885/886 Mangaluru-Dammam-Mangaluru till March 28 and IX 821/822 Mangaluru-Doha-Mangaluru till March 28.
