As per sources, he was under tremendous mental stress after an incident on college day. It is alleged that his college faculty were harassing him and causing mental torture.

He had reportedly made a video call to his friend and explained his ordeal before committing suicide.

It is gathered that his lecturers had reportedly insulted him at a parents-teachers’ meeting citing an incident on college day and was suspended from his class. Also he was not provided free laptop given under government scheme.

Charan Shetty’s body was found hanging onto a tree near to his house.

Brahmavar police said that the Charan's parents were called to his college. He reportedly dropped message to his friends before taking the extreme step. Police also informed that they are yet to take action against the deceased's lecturers.

    Heartfelt condolences to the family.

Its so sad to see student committing suicide. I feel pity on the parents, in few years the life would be more precious when he would finish his education and get a job and the happiness of the parents would be beyond the limits.

Teachers are the one who mould the students, but there are some lectures who misuse the power and try to blame a student for no reason. A teacher can make or ruin the future of the student. A teacher can make the best student from the worst student or make a student worst from the best. As a student spends more time in education institutions rather than home these days.

So I kindly request the teachers not to blame the students unnecessarily first find the root cause what's the problem and help them in solving it and not giving him more problems by harassing the student.

But when a student earns pretty well the teacher who has harassed will come to the student asking for donations for the school.

So sad .he was young.Nowadays youngsters are so sensitive. Are not in a situation to take any no s from others. He had a bad time in college.and dismissed from college?Very bad.Lecturers insulted him in front of others certainly hit him .But he should have taken it as a challange to improve .What exactly happened we dont know.Lecturers have no right to insult in front of others ,and it should be investigated.Fellow should have thought with suecide he does lot of pain to his parents ,family.when a student does something wrong,it should be discussed in office in front of parents. Not in front of others.May this be a lesson to lecturers in future.Heartfelt sympathy to his family.May his soul rest in peace.

Yes i agree that students these days have ego problem, but they are still students and the lecturers should know the way to handle students and not just be rude and insult or harress them front of others. No one these days can take insult. Days have gone when students used to think lecturers are GOD and listen and tolerate each and every nonsense done by the teachers and lecturers. Strict action should be taken against the lecturer.
