Commerce association organized a magnificently glorious and a great day named 'Cuisine Carnival' held on February 25, 2020, in the college quadrangle at 11.45 am. The college was decked up for the auspicious day. The function was attended by the renowned entrepreneur, Ibrahim Moulana Gangoli, owner of Legado Hotels who came along with his team was the chief guest at the event. They were welcomed royally by showering flower petals. Dr Vincent Alva principal Milagres College, Savitha Hebbar principal Milagres PU College, Fr Lancy Fernandes headmaster Milagres English Medium High School, Dr Herold Monis dean of Commerce department, Radhika Patkar convenor Commerce Association, Mohd Anfal of III Bcom ‘B’ president of Commerce Association, Abdul Shaheem III Bcom ‘A’ vice-president, Rimza Zakir III Bcom ‘A’, Heeral Crasta III Bcom ‘B’ joint secretary Commerce Association escorted the dignitaries. The guest graced the event with valuable words and inspired all the students to dream in their life. Ibrahim inaugurated Cuisine Carnival-2020 by unveiling the curtains and by cutting the delicious and tempting cake. “To serve, relish and cherish the taste.”



First time in the history of Milagres, the quest for a MasterChef was conducted. The chief guest along with his team and principal, dean Fr Lancy judged the dishes served by the students on taste, hygiene and presentation. Finally, the chief guest announced the winners- Raina, Roshni, Shreya and Shayona of III Bcom 'A' were crowned by a chef cap, apron and certificate of appreciation besides that they also got a chance to relish the luxury of Legado hotels as the owner invited them for a free meal.

There was also a special flash mob presented by first, second and final year Bcom students. The emcee for the ceremony was Rimza Zakir of III Bcom ‘A’ and the Disc Jockey was Mater Renson of III Bcom ‘A’. The constant hard work by the office bearers - Mohd Anfal president, Abdul Shaheem vice-president, Rimza Zakir secretary, Heeral Crasta joint secretary, Radhika Patkar convenor Commerce Association and all the final year Bcom A and B students are credited in making this event a grand success.
