Mangaluru: Kannada movie ' Maaya Kannadi' to release on Feb 28

Mangaluru, Feb 25: “The much-awaited Kannada movie ' Maaya Kannadi' will release on February 28 across the state,” said director Vinod Poojary.

Addressing media here on Monday February 24, Vinod Poojary said, "Prabhu Mundkur, Kaajal Kunder, Anvitha Sagar are playing the lead roles in the movie, while Ashwin Rao, Karthik Rao, K S Sridhar, Anoop Sagar are playing the supporting roles.

“The film tells a story about college fresher Sandy who is puzzled by the series of student suicides in the campus, with all the victims sharing one thing in common - a whale tattoo on their wrists. When his close friend Neha becomes the latest victim, Sandy finds himself as the prime suspect. Did he kill her or is this a dark conspiracy masterminded by someone else forms the crux of the story,” he said.











Editor Sujith Nayak said, "The movie is a suspense thriller in the backdrop of the deadly Blue Whale game which took lives of many college going kids.”

The movie is directed by Vinod Poojary and produced by Sapana Patil and co-produced by King of Hearts Entertainment.

Ranjith Bajpe is the executive producer, music has been composed by Abhishek S N, Mani Kookal Nair has captured the movie.

Actor Anoop Sagar, actress Anvitha Sagar, Kajaal Kunder and others were present.
