Mangaluru: 'Nightingale of Goa' Lorna enthralls crowd at Konkan Fiesta 2k20

Mangaluru, Feb 23: It was a weekend to remember for Mangalureans as the second edition of Konkan Fiesta 2k20 a fest of dance, music and food concluded on a grand note at City Beach, Bolar here on Saturday, February 22. The event was curated and presented by emcee Hera Pinto.

The highlight of the event was 'Nightingale of Goa' Lorna, whose electrifying performance had the audience dancing away to glory. The veteran performer belted popular songs that added a special spark to the event.

Mangaluru's favourite band Sea Seven, DJ Jude, DJ Cletus too enthralled the audience.

A part of the fiesta’s proceeds will be donated through In5nity Foundation to children battling cancer. Hera Pinto handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000 to the founder member of In5nity foundation Dharmith and Dr Harsha Prasad, paediatric oncologist of KMC Hospital.

The poster of upcoming Konkani movie 'Allshi Redde' was released on the occasion. The movie is being produced by Sparkle Productions, with direction and lead role played by Hera Pinto and Godwin Sparkle.

Porlu Javaner Dubai were declared winners of 'Baila Challenge' held during the event. The winners took home a cash prize of Rs 10,000.
