Konkani film ‘Nirmillem Nirmonem’ screened to houseful audience in Sharjah

Sharjah, Feb 22: After successful houseful premiere show in Dubai recently, super-hit Konkani movie ‘Nirmillem Nirmonem’ concluded another houseful show in Sharjah on Friday, February 21 at Novo Cinema, Mega Mall.

It was a jam packed show where many people returned back without tickets and some managed to sit on the floor to watch. It was a last minute rush and organizers found difficult to arrange though repeated follow-ups were done to get confirmation of attendance.

Actor Prathap Menezes along with the guest team of ‘Ek Aslyar Ek Na’ actor director Pradeep Barboza, actor Alphonse D’Souza, Priya Menezes Lobo, patron of Sharjah Karnataka Sangha, Mark Denis, team leader Cynthia Goveas, Reshma D’Mello, Gloria D’Souza and Shodhan Prasad of Sandhya Creations were on the dais for inauguration. After welcome speech and thanksgiving, the movie started and all the audience was interestingly watching the movie with laughter until the end.

The movie got over and no one wanted to return home but was busy expressing their views which was captured in the video shared on social media.

The tag line is that the audience liked the movie in all aspects as it had an unexpected storyline including the concluding part. Of course, the lyrics, music, songs and the comedy part were highlighted with the audience review on the spot.

‘Nirmillem Nirmonem’ produced by Henry D’Silva Surathkal is directed by Melwin Elpel. The co-direction and screen play has been written by Norbert John. Actors Prathap Menezes, Seema Buthello, Hera Pinto, Godwin, Vinny Fernandes, Rony Surathkal, Meenakshi Martin, Hambert Goa, Helen Noronha, Charles Gomes, Socia Pinto and other famous personalities of the region are among the vibrant cast. Santhosh, Milan Markanja, Jerald and Rayan are the assistant directors of the film. Manjunath handled the cinematography and Nandu Jabez the background score. Heart touching songs is penned by late Konkan Kogul Wilfy Rebimbus. R Pappan –Joswin duo have composed the beautiful music. Poet Wilson Kateel also has penned a beautiful song for the movie.

The film is based on a unique story that deals with the obstacles and anxieties faced by a person looking for love.

More shows are expected in Abu Dhabi, Mussafah, Dubai and Sharjah, the dates of which will be announced soon.
