CREDAI's new app to help connect home buyers, developers

New Delhi, Feb 16 (IANS): In a bid to ease the process of buying properties and connect home buyers and developers, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) has come up with a mobile application, ‘CREDAI Awaas app.

"Through this initiative, CREDAI aims to provide a credible platform for prospective home buyers, to identify their preferred projects and contact developers directly. The app can be downloaded from Apple app store and 'Play Store' and can be used by both national and international buyers," a statement from the industry body said on Saturday.

The mobile app is an exclusive platform for CREDAI members, which will showcase projects from 220 cities and witness participation from 20,000 CREDAI developers nationwide, it said.

As per the statement, the application would take care of home buyers' interests by bringing them on a common platform with credible developers, thereby avoiding middlemen and ensuring transparency in transactions.

CREDAI Chairman Jaxay Shah said: "This will be an experiential and interactive platform and buyers will now be able to view complete information about the property which will allow them to take an informed decision thus creating a smooth home-buying experience. The app will aid developers in selling their finished projects faster and improve home buyers' sentiments at large."
