Puttur: HJV leader’s car involved in hit-and-run act five months ago found

Puttur, Feb 14: Police personnel found the car belonging to Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) leader, BJP ticket aspirant from Puttur Vidhan Sabha constituency Kumar Puttila, which involved in a hit-and-run incident. The Innova car had allegedly knocked down Sumathi(48) seriously injuring her in the incident at Nettana, Bilinele village, Kadaba taluk in the district, five months ago. Sumathi had later succumbed to her injuries.

CCTV had captured the footage where the damaged front portion of the car can be seen clearly. Police traced the car with the help of those clues and seized.

As Arun Puttila said that his driver was driving the car, Puttur rural police personnel arrested driver Prashanth. The driver had fled after the accident on September 9, 2019. The team led by Puttur rural police circle inspector have continued investigation.

    A case should have been registered on Putthila for hiding a crime.

    Last few days Nalapad the Congress ticket aspirant,Ashoks son and a under age driving and killing one in Pumpwell are seeking protection by the loose law is very disgusting.

    Can anyone hide under motor laws hitting and killing??

    The man who allegedly facilitated the suspected killers of journalist Gauri Lankesh to practise firing at his land in Belagavi and provided other logistic support to the murder is said to be a member of a pro-Hindu outfit Hindu Jagarana Vedike.

    Kurne also actively participated in the meetings. He has a three-acre land at a remote location in a forest area in Khanapur. There, the accused were trained in firing air guns and other firearms. There was no mobile phone network in the remote area and the accused stayed there during the night in a small room constructed in the land. Kurne had also arranged vehicles from his room in Belagavi to his land in the forest to facilitate the other accused to commute easily,” the remand application stated.
    In the same case the SIT took two men associated with Hindu Jagarana Vedike from Padubidri area in Udupi district into their custody. The first suspectSandesh Shetty (32) is a resident of Padebettu and the other Yuvaraj (31) is a resident of Kanchinadka near Padubidri.

    Why this radical organisation still flourishing in Karnataka despite its connections and direct involvement in anti-nation activity and murders?
    If the misguided Hindu warrior of Hindu Jagaran Vedike re-enacted at the Morning Mist homestay in Mangalore ‘Indian tradition’, attacking women dressed in western attire or the partying crowd will be tolerated?

    Even if driver had fled this HJV leader of BJP ticket aspirant should have come forward to support his fellow Hindu victim. These fake hindu protectors are actually murderers of Hindus behind the scene.
