Bengaluru: Day after allocating portfolios to new minsters, CM BSY reassigns them

Bengaluru, Feb 11: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa who had assigned portfolios to new ministers on Monday, made changes in the portfolios on Tuesday, February 11.

Anand Singh was allotted environment along with forests. Gopalayya was assigned food department portfolio.

The chief minister during distribution of portfolios for the third time has retained Bengaluru urban development and energy without allocating it to anybody else.

The government has reassigned the portfolios of nine ministers in all.

C C Patil is assigned mining, geology and industries. The forests and environment department is assigned to Anand Singh. K Gopalayya is assigned food and civil supplies. Srimanta Patil has been assigned textiles and minority welfare department. B C Patil has been assigned agriculture department now. Shivarama Hebbar has been assigned sugar department along with labour department.
