Mangaluru, Feb 11: Tulu film, 'Yenna' produced under the banner 'Glorious Angelore Productions’ by Canute Mathias Pilar will hit the screens on February 14.
In a press meet held here on Tuesday, February 11 Vishwanath Kodikal, the director of the movie, said., “’Yenna’ is all set for release on February 14 in theaters of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and other parts of state. The entire team is excited about the release of the movie. With the intention of providing opportunity to new, budding talents, we have given chance to many new faces in ‘Yenna’. In total, 173 artistes have acted in this movie."
“Without any cuts, the film has received U/A certificate. The film’s video song, which was released recently, attracted positive response on YouTube. Vaishali S Udupi has handled cinematography. For the first time, camera is being handled by a lady in Tulu films.
“‘Yenna’ has a unique story which can be watched by all genres of people. We hope that movie lovers will accept our creativity and concept through this movie. Known hero in Coastalwood Pruthvi Ambar, also has played a guest role in ‘Yenna’,” he said.
“V J Vineeth, the lead actor in 'Yenna said, “The movie has come out really good and it has a really good mix to entertain people. It has amazing story flow and screen play. It was a wonderful experience to act under Vishwanath and Maxim Angelore.”
Along with direction, Vishwanath has also handled the story and screenplay of this movie. Maxim Pereira Angelore is the associate director. Loy valentine Saldanha has composed music for the film. Along with Loy coastal regions known singer Shilpa Cutinho rendered voice for songs of the movie. Dhanush Bajal and Maxim Periera have written lyrics for the songs. Shweta Arehole is the choreographer.
The film has been shot in and around Mangaluru. Most of the shooting has been done at Sahyadri College in Adyar. Prashanth C K has written the dialogues. Shruthi Poojary, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli and others are part of the film.
