Mangaluru: BJP has not neglected coastal region in Cabinet expansion - B Sriramulu

Mangaluru, Feb 6: Karnataka Health minister B Sriramulu visited BJP party office at PVS here on Thursday, February 6.

“Due to my daughter's wedding, I could not attend the Cabinet expansion programme. I have taken prior permission from the party,” he said.

“We have not neglected coastal region during the Cabinet expansion. Everyone has the desire to become a minister and we need to wait for the opportunities. BJP will give opportunity for everyone and we will not neglect coastal region. We have three deputy chief ministers. Even I had the desire to become deputy chief minister and party will definitely give me the opportunity,” Sriramulu said.

Responding to H D Kumaraswamy’s statement that government will not survive for five years, Sriramulu said, "Kumaraswamy is in disappointment after losing power. Where he needs to be serious, he will crack joke. When we crack a joke, he will be serious. Kumaraswamy is not aware on what he speaks. These statements are only because of his disappointment.

“Former chief minister Siddaramaiah is unemployed as he has no other work. All Congress leaders are unemployed. People had voted for the newly appointed ministers as they contested with the BJP party symbol,” he said.

'Few more MLAs likely to get minister’s post after six months'

"Sufficient precautions are taken to prevent spread of Corona virus in the state. Officials are directed to take measures regarding foreigners disembarking at airports,” said minister of health B Sriramulu.

He was speaking to news reporters during his visit to Udupi district BJP office.

“Precautions are taken in the airports, sea ports and coastal area. Ten beds each are reserved in all the district hospitals and private hospitals. Preparations are made to prevent the virus at Kerala border. Bloods of 70% people are tested. No symptoms are found among people. Nearly 15 LED mobile vehicles are put into service in order to create awareness among people. Those go from village to village and create awareness. There is no need for people to be afraid,” he said.

Intention to empower all MLAs

Reacting to his absence for new minister’s oath taking, he said that he is preparing for the wedding of his daughter. “I have no doubt that our leaders are ably extending the cabinet. I have come after taking permission from the party. Yediyurappa wants all to get power. Few more MLAs may become ministers after six months,” he said.

“The chief minister gives opportunity to all. We will have to wait till then.” Reacting to not getting the position of deputy chief minister, he said he has the desire like everybody else. “I am confident of getting the opportunity when the time comes,” he said.

Our buddus of twin districts are there just to vote on religion lines and what BlueJP gives is babji ka tullu.

Angara, because he belongs to SC category is not given minister position, though he has won for sixth or seventh straight time. Manuvadi party will never promote SC and ST

But we will still vote for Modi.

"Even I had the Desire to become Deputy CM" - Sad state of our nations Politicians apart from our PM whose meteoric rise and unmatched Fame is only beacause of his Intent of serving our nation rather than running behind the post.Like him or not, its a fact that he has set a benchmark for modern day and upcoming politicians.
