Moodabidri, Jan 21: MITE is organizing a two-day 'Global Conference on Advanced Smart & Sustainable Technologies in Engineering' (GCASSTE-2020) on January 30 and 31 at its campus in Moodbidri.

The conference is on emerging technologies in the field of Civil, Mechanical and Electronics & Communication Engineering. They hope this conference will be a platform for researchers, scientists, academicians, and industry professionals from varied engineering fields in solving critical engineering problems of the society.

The conference had received 220 full-length papers from across the globe including countries like Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, Nigeria and so on. After thorough scrutiny and review, 169 papers are selected and would be presented at different tracks in the two day conference. The conference also has eminent keynote speakers from Singapore and Indonesia.

The college has received a grant of Rs 4,56,667 from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi under the Scheme of Grant for Organizing the Conference.
