Mangaluru: Get set for ‘Beach Zumba’ at Panambur on December 31

Media Release

Mangaluru, Dec 18: The fitness enthusiasts and dance lovers of Mangaluru are here for a treat. The first-of-its-kind Zumba event will be taking place in Panambur Beach on December 31 from 4.30 pm onwards.

Veekshitha Arasa, an officially certified Zumba instructor, is all set to present Zumba fitness at the beach for the people of Mangaluru along with her co-hosts Meenal Dubey and Ashwitha Shetty who have been passionately spreading Zumba love in Bengaluru through their classes and events. One will also witness some immensely talented Zumba instructors who will make the participants groove to peppy, energetic numbers and make the evening sweat-blasting and fantastic.

Zumba is an exercise fitness programme created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto ‘Beto’ Pérez. Zumba fitness has quickly grown into one of the most popular group exercise classes across the globe. Zumba is a total-body cardio and aerobic workout. A study shows that a person burns 300 to 900k calories with an hour-long Zumba session. It attracts exercisers with a fun fusion of dance moves from styles like Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton and Cumbia.

The main presenter and host of this event Veekshitha hails basically from Mangaluru. Having trained in various fitness centers and corporates across Bengaluru and being the presenter in several mega events both in India and as well as international platform in Hong Kong, Veekshitha always had a dream to have a full-fledged Zumba fitness event in her own city Mangaluru. The idea of having it by the beach side fascinated her even more and that’s how this event has been planned exclusively for the people of Mangaluru right at the beach.

For all those who have been planning to start their fitness journey, this might just be the beginning. Once can make New Year resolution to stay healthy and get fit. What better way than to dance one’s way to fitness through Zumba.

Daijiworld is the official media partner for the event.
