Kasargod: 60-year-old man kills wife, brutally attacks daughter

Kasargod, Dec 3: A man killed his wife and injured daughter at Ambalathara near here on Monday, December 2.

Gopalakrishnan (60) from Ambalathara is the murderer.

Gopalakrishnan murdered his wife Kalyani by causing injury to her head. Daughter Sharanya (25) was also brutally attacked by Gopalakrishnan. She has sustained serious injuries.

Subsequently the Ambalathara police arrested Gopalakrishnan with the help of local people.

Sharanya has been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

Family problem could be the reason for the act, said some sources.
