Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Nov 8: It is said that Ashis, Shanu and Tahim were sitting with a Hindu girl at Bhujanga Park, Ajjarkad here on November 2, when some youngsters including Sunil Poojary and Rakesh Suvarna approached them, asked them to show their identity cards, and attacked Ashis. In connection with this incident, two separate complaints were filed in the town police station here.

Relating to this dispute, the police had brought both the groups to the police station and talked to them. At the request of the girl's father, no formal complaint was registered. But the girl issued a written statement in which she said that she was sitting in the park with some friends on November 2 when a gang of eight to nine people attacked her friends.

It has also been said that on November 4, the photographs of Ashis and her were downloaded from Facebook and circulated through WhatsApp. In her complaint on November 5, she said when she was speaking with friends in the park, the youngsters attacked them and clicked photos.

In another complaint connected with the incident, a person named Krishnananda has alleged that at 8 pm on November 2, Ashis Ali was behaving indecently with a Hindu girl at Bhujanga Park, Ajjarkadu, and when he and his friends questioned, Ashis, Harshad Ali and some others used abusive words against them, attacked them, and hurled expletives at their caste.

The police are looking into both these complaints. In a release, the police have warned that photographs of this said couple and unsubstantiated information about them should not be circulated through social websites. They said that those who violate this instruction will be moved against legally.

Elements within our nation, are desperately trying to propagate medieval ideologies from the middle east.... They tried this in Jammu n Kashmir, fortunately we had a PM who crushed these evil forces.... Now these same radicalized enemies, are trying this same dogma, in many parts of our nation.... Rest assured, these evil brutes, will also be systematically neutralized and cast out, from our sacred soil !!!!!!!!

    Height of foolishness.
Why these youngsters indulge in these type of unproductive activities ? If they have enough money and time , let them use it for uplifting some poor families and earn their blessings.

Karma is more important than dharma. "You don't need religion to have morals. If you can't determine right from wrong, then you lack empathy, not religion".

The wounds of partition, in 1947, has never been healed, rather it has festered into a malignant tumor.. Mumbai, the mega metropolis, financial hub, cauldron, melting pot of cultures, across every regions, of our nation, has a superficial image...... There is a distinct, invisible, demarcation of territory, drawn between majority n minority faith.. Transgressions of this unwritten Code, is clearly disapproved n condemned. Dakshin Kannada and adjoining districts, were an oasis of peace and tranquillity..... Today the rising demographic changes, has brought in suspicion, hatred !!!! The entire belt, has become volatile, tinderbox, ready to explode !!!!!

a few days ago there was an elaborate article of developing tourism in this district!!
with these kind of people, do you think that any tourists or even people of our own state from other districts will try to venture into our district?
Till this mentality of home stay attack goes away there is no chance of this district developing at all.
