Mangaluru, Oct 20: The administration board of Kudroli Temple has filed a complaint with the city police commissioner urging to take stern action against people who are spreading false rumours on social media that the health condition of former union minister Janardhana Poojary is not okay. 

Janardhana Poojary is the backbone of the development of Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Temple. 

On the night of Friday, October 18, false rumours had spread on social media including WhatsApp regarding the severe ill health of Janardhana Poojary. The admirers of Poojary and the political leaders, who got anxious seeing the false rumours on social media, had called the administrative committee of the temple and asked about the well being of Janardhana Poojary. Accordingly, the administrative board of the temple filed complaint with the city police commissioner. 

“Certain culprits are spreading false propaganda with regards to the health of former union minister Janardhana Poojary. This has caused pain to the family and admirers of Poojary. These culprits should be identified and arrested. They have to be warned not to indulge in such anti-social activities in future." demands the complaint. 

H S Sairam, president of Sri Gokarnanatha Temple, Padmaraj R, treasurer, Devendra Poojary, member of development committee, Shekhar Poojary and Dr B G Suvarna were present while filing the complaint.
