Selection of Opposition leader - Former CM Siddaramaiah holds meeting with close aides

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Oct 7: It is learnt that at the same time as AICC chief secretary Madhusudhan Mistry is taking the opinions of the state Congress leaders with respect to the appointment of opposition leader, former CM Siddaramaiah has held a meeting at his Cauvery residence in the city with his close aides.

Siddaramaiah conducted a meeting with many MLAs including former ministers Krishna Byregowda, Zameer Ahmed, MLAs Bhyrati Basavaraj and Rizwan Arshad. It is said that Siddaramaiah has discussed about his next move in the party based on the decision of the high command.

In the midst of this development, it is heard that the attempt to collect the signatures of MLAs in favour of Siddaramaiah demanding that he only should be made the leader of the opposition and submit to Madhusudhan Mistry has failed miserably.

Congress without Siddaramaiah is like a waterless river. Congress will not survive if party ignored Siddaramaiah. The great politician siddu, social concern politician.

Actually you're missing the skies for the trees here. Arrogant & scheming Siddu is root cause for complete failure of CONgress in state.
He susscesfully made party 78 seats from comfortable 123 seats in Assembly last year, lost power, made party second fiddle to 37 seat JD(S), engineered defections from both parties & made CONgress loose coalition Govt, in the meantime also was made Party chief for MP elections and we all know what happened. Made party one MP from 9 MPs. How long more can AICC believe in this guy?
Touch Siddu at your own peril!

Sidhu is a BJP mole in Congress. In hailing him as No 1 CM, Pidis lost the plot that as a termite he has divided congress in 2 parts in Karnataka.

Nidderamayya destroyed this age old party because of his ego and attitute.
He should be shown right place this time.
Young and energetic guy should be made as opposition leader if congress really wants to survive in the state.
