Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School organises educational trip to Japan

Mangaluru, Oct 4: A new perspective in the world, for the students of Lourdes Central School (LCS), opening their eyes to unimagined possibilities. Lourdes Central School continues to be the forerunner amongst all educational institutions in Mangaluru in its unceasing adventures.

An educational trip to Japan with 22 students accompanied by school principal Fr Robert D Souza and the vice principal Belita Masacarenhas starts their journey on October 4 and they will reach back to Mangaluru on October 12. During their trip they will visit Tokyo, Osaka Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They will be visiting Kobe, Miraikan Museum, Statue of Liberty, AsakusaSensoji Shrine, Tsukuba Space Center, Shinkansen Bullet Train journey, Hiroshima Peace Park, Atomic Bomb Dome, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, Kobe Earthquake Museum, Fushimi Inari etc. There will a few interactive sessions with the students of collaborating schools of Japan.

This is their second venture after their successful trip to NASA - USA two years ago. It gave a global dimension and International exposure to the curriculum at Lourdes Central School.

This venture adds a new feather in the cap for the activities organized in Lourdes Central School. This trip is organized with the help of famous Travel Space, Mangaluru.
