Mangaluru, Sep 20: St Agnes CBSE School being a part of the lead hub school – Presidency School, hosted a workshop on 'Maintenance of Portfolios and Multiple Assessment' on September 19.

The workshop was conducted by the principal of MP International School, Kasargod, Dr Abdul Jaleel Marthya.

Valuable information on recent changes and additions in the CBSE with regard to internal assessment were highlighted. He spoke on maintaining records from the side of the students as well as teachers. He came equipped with examples of how portfolios need to be made and how multiple assessments need to be conducted throughout the year.

The workshop had a total strength of 60 participants which included principals and teachers of eight schools in the city. The participting schools were – Amrita Vidyalayam, BGS Education Centre, Sri Satyasai Loka Seva Vidya Kendra, Delhi Public School, Sharada Vidyalaya, Sri Chaitanya Techno School, St Agnes CBSE School and Presidency School.

The workshop was greatly appreciated by all as it helped educators to gain clarity on the nuances of CBSE assessment.
