Bengaluru: Enforcement of cow slaughter ban is priority - DCM Ashwath

Bengaluru, Sep 11: Karnataka deputy chief minister (DCM), Dr C N Ashwath Narayan, said that nothing needs to be newly added to the provisions of cow slaughter ban about which mention has been made in the Indian Constitution.

He said that the provisions in force need to be just implemented in earnestness. He was speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, September 10.

"If there are any hitches, we will try to bring suitable amendments. The first preference of the government would be to implement the law that is already in existence. We feel and think that cows should not be slaughtered. If there is need, and if it serves to strengthen the law, we are committed to bring amendments as may be needed," he explained.

Why bjp is following double policy. Why not declare cow as national animal and ban cow slaughter all over india particularly in Goa + Gujrat. Why bjp is allowing slaughtering of hundreds of cows on daily basis in Gujrat beef export factories. Is this because almost all the beef exporters are Brahmins + Pandits + Shahs? BJP has no guts to shutdown these beef exporting factories and they are only after minorities who slaughter aninmals which cross certain age limit and do not milk. For bjp cow is sacred only for name sake. They are fooling the public and betrying the nation. I dont think if we call them as Deshdrohis.

Dear honorable DCM Ashwath sir,

All these statements is fine during election time to gain support for your canvassing of votes. hope you are that the election time is over and you are now in the government ruling the state. Kindly understand that as a leader and a DCM who rules the state you have to set your priorities right. Banning cow slaughter can be an agenda but cannot be a priority.
Priorities means work to be done at top urgency and that should be health, safety, education and relief to flood effected citizens of the state.

Here major part of our state is reeling under floods and many people have been displaced and property and lives lost and you do not even bother for them.

We request you to set your priorities right as elected leaders for the people to enhance their safety, health, and life standards. If this is not possible you should not be sitting on the seat of DEPUTY CHEIF MINISTER of the state.

You can have all your other politically motivated priorities outside the government. When in government you need to rule for the benefit of the people.

So serve the people as their representatives and not as their masters and stop the idiosyncrasy of your statements for the betterment of the people

I urge Chief Minister of Karnataka and like the minded MLA’s & M.P’s to help open cattle slaughter houses in each and every taluks as the meat prices are sky rocketing day by day.

NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHAT SHOULD BE IN MY PLATE.

3) PUTTUR.

I AM NOT SURE CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSES ARE EXISTING IN UDUPI DISTRICT.

1) KARKALA – IF NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE SHOULD OPEN.

The theory that in Vedic times there was no cow slaughter is historically inaccurate. Although cow was revered and treated as sacred, it was also offered as food to guests and persons of high status. The fact remains that ancient Hindu scriptures clearly permit the consumption of meat, even of cows.

Yes... I do agree with you... Not only pigs and chicken eat human excreta even the cows do eat. I have seen in my village where the cows are left out to graze in "gudda kaadu". Some villagers /passer by use that place as toilet. These poor animals eat... Whom to advice... Animals or human beings? How many cows die out of eating plastic bags? We humans should have sense first... I have seen those cows fill their stomach eating from the garbage... In the first place why owners can't feed them and leave on the streets to eat rotten food plastic bags etc??

Our priority at present is;
Clean air, clean water, electricity without cuts, food and housing for poor & flood affected.

Financial crisis have twisted the middle class and employment of the youth who have completed education have been left unattended.

As an Indian missing these basic principles and priorities for other priority is a sad situation we are now facing from such supposed to be educated.

Let government announce no more required cow sheds anywhere. Let them roam anywhere as they like. Only let it comest the time of milking the same. We let them loose and stay anywhere..unki marzi.
If any butchers try to harm it any one of them let government announce death penalty. Desh badal raha hai..

What does the construction say, the tigers in Indian zoos be fed with Dr. Ashwath Narayan ? Have you ever investigated about this ?? Does the constitution also demands that India be one of top beef exporters in the world ??

No wonder the CM is having five deputies. All five and him including it makes a complete brain. Each functions 1/6 proportion only, the rest has caught rust.
