Prostitution racket foiled in raid by Calangute Police

Calangute, Sep 1: On Saturday, Calangute police foiled a prostitution racket. In a raid conducted near the Calangute market, Shabbir Ahmed (31), the accused was arrested.

The accused is a resident of Ektanagar, Mapusa. During his arrest, Ahmed was caught in the act while delivering two women meant for customers.

The cops have placed Ahmed in five days of police custody by judicial magistrate first class, Mapusa.
