Bengaluru: 17 ministers including Kota Srinivas Poojary take oath as ministers

Bengaluru, Aug 20: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa expanded his cabinet on Tuesday, August 20, and inducted 17 cabinet ministers in his ministry. All of them took oath on the morning.

Governor Vajubhai Vala administered the oath to all the ministers. State leaders of BJP, relatives and supporters of the new ministers and party activists of BJP took part in the oath taking ceremony.

Senior BJP leader Govind Karajola took the oath first. He was followed by Ashwath Narayan, Laxman Savadi, K S Eshwarappa, R Ashok and Jagadish Shettar.

The names of the 17 cabinet ministers, who took oath are Govind Karjol, Ashwath Narayan, Laxman Savadi, K S Eshwarappa, R Ashok, Jagadish Shettar, Sriramulu, S Suresh Kumar, V Somanna, C T Ravi, Basavaraj Bommai, Kota Srinivas Poojary, J C Madhuswamy, Chandrakant Patil, H Nagesh, Prabhu Chouhan and Shashikala Jolle.

    Our Govt. of India has spent Rs. 92 Crores for construction of 36 houses for newly elected members of the parliament. Our leaders should have simple living oriented and not so expensive to spend crores of rupees of public money for each house.So what is the cost of each house? Is this Golden house? In this amount we would have developed hundreds of slums and uplifted many poor families in villages. We are expecting eradication of corruption, demolition of buildings built on the road by crocodiles, improvement of education, health, employment etc., Need not go to Delhi. What is the tender amount for a small clock tower in Mangalore ? Understood that nearly a crore .

    We hope our newly assigned Ministers both in the center and state will think that public is observing them and that they are not fools.

    1. just one minister from 3 coastal districts that too for a MLC.. (shows all 16 BJP mlas are useless)
    2. ppl who have already occupied the seat of CM, DCM ( shettar,ashoka, eshwarappa) are now demoted as ministers.
    3. MLAs who watched p*rn in assembly CC patil and laxman savadi (now former MLA) are back as ministers..

    It would be interesting to see how heavyweights like Katti, balachandra jarkiholi, Renukacharya will behave now!
