Leh's Magnetic Hill pulls vehicles while in neutral gear, major tourist attraction

Daijiworld Media Network - Leh (SHP)

Leh, Aug 19: A small stretch of road along the Leh-Kargil Highway defies gravity. Located at a distance of 30 km from Leh city, Magnetic Hill in Ladakh is considered to be a major tourist attraction for riders.

The strange occurrence has been testified by travellers from all over the world. The hill also forces Indian Air Force, to pick an alternate route to avoid the magnetic field.

To witness the 'magnetism' a signboard instructs the travellers to park their vehicles in neutral gear behind a yellow mark. From that point, the vehicle moves at a speed of 20 km.

"Some gravitational pull is active which makes the vehicle move, it is a cool place," said a tourist from Canada.

People who have recorded videos have flooded YouTube with their experiences.

There are same place in Saudi Arabia called Wadi-E-Jinn. It looks same as this place. If you keep your car by neutral gear it moves ( even to up) Actually there is nothing magic and the logic is reverse gravity.
Locals dont worship as super power they kept it as empty place.

As per Wikipedia it seems to be a mere optical illusion. The surrounding landscape makes it appear to be an uphill but in reality it's a downhill. The Canadian traveler right, it's the gravity that pulls the vehicle.
