ANC of Goa police arrests Odisha native with narcotics worth Rs 5.4 lac

Panaji, Aug 19: The Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) of Goa police arrested a 28 year old Odisha native for being in possession of narcotic substance worth Rs 5.4 lac. As per police, the accused, a resident of Shakali, was involved in the supply and distribution of ganja in and around Shakali.

Based on a tip-off that a person was involved in distributing ganja, the ANC after investigations arrested the accused from his rented accommodation from where he operated his business. The accused was presented before the judicial magistrate who in turn remanded him to two days police custody.
