Mangaluru, Aug 16: A video in which students of a school are continuing to sing the national anthem amidst heavy downpour is going viral on social media. Public is lauding the patriotism shown by the children.
In a rural school on the outskirts of the city, the students of a primary school did not budge even during heavy rain and continued to sing and complete the national anthem. This incident occurred at Sambar Thota School in Mudipu.
As the national flag got unfurled and the students of the school started singing the national anthem, heavy downpour started. The chief guest ran for shelter.
However, the young children did not follow the chief guest but continued to sing the national anthem and completed it. They were completely drenched in rain water when the national anthem came to an end.
