Margao, Jul 17: Body of an eleven-year old boy, Deepak Khatri, who had fallen into a stream and went missing on Monday at Dongorim, Navelim, was fished out from the water body at Mandop, on Tuesday evening.

A local resident of Mandop, Sreejit Audi spotted Deepak's body and tried to retrieve it, but owing to the strong water current, the body was carried further downstream. Sreejith persisted in his efforts and succeeded in recovering the body, following which he handed it over to the police team.
