Their sole intention was to support the needy families either through financial means or providing them with basic necessities for their home and educational support for their kids.

Since its inception, year after year, SWAK made steady progress through their noble deeds which also saw many more members joining the association. Today, SWAK has more than 250 members who take great satisfaction and pride through their contribution.

SWAK, a purely non profitable and charitable organisation is dedicated towards:

• Upbringing of poor children, in the field of education by funding school fees and uniform.
• Providing financial help to improve the living conditions by repairing dilapidated homes.
• Giving medical assistance by sharing their monetary burden to combat their illnesses.
• Granting finance to underprivileged families during festive/family occasions to shoulder their responsibilities, thereby bringing happiness to their homes.

For the last 25 years, every year, more than a lac is spent towards the education of financially backward students of Shirva. Same time, SWAK has helped towards construction of houses of needy people, towards the betterment of all projects of Shirva Church, towards Don Bosco English Medium School, Shirva.
