Bengaluru, Jul 8: Minister D K Shivakumar accused BJP that MLA H Nagesh was kidnapped and forced to resign and taken to Mumbai.

Speaking to the media, Shivakumar said, "MLA of Mulabagilu Nagesh spoke with me using the mobile of someone else. He told me that "B S Yeddyurappa sent people and got me kidnapped and made me resign and they are taking me to Mumbai. Please come soon." Immediately, I along with Narayana Swamy and V Muniyappa, rushed to the airport. The flight was made to take off an hour earlier than scheduled. It can be made out from this incident as to how the BJP is behaving. Nagesh was literally crying when he called me. Even before we could reach him, he is taken to Mumbai. This is condemnable. He will come back again to Congress. I am confident that Nagesh will take back his resignation. This government will be intact.

"Let them do whatever they want under the democratic system. But it is not right to put pressure on the MLAs and force them to resign. Let the BJP say for once that they are doing this. But they are expressing ignorance of any activity and playing dirty politics. We will try to save the government under any circumstances. We are ready to sacrifice. We will save this government," added minister D K Shivakumar.
