Bengaluru, Jun 26: The special court for people's representatives here, on Tuesday June 25, dismissed an application filed by water resources minister, D K Shivakumar, seeking to drop his name from a case filed against him by the income tax department.
Shivakumar has been facing charges of tax evasion and also action on crores of rupees in cash found at his residence at New Delhi.
The income tax officials, during the raids on the residences and offices of minister Shivakumar and others close to him during 2017, had also raided his residence at New Delhi.
