Daijiworld Media Network – Karkala (JD)

Karkala, Jun 20: Signboards of Pallotti Vikas Home Minor Seminary at Miyar near here were reportedly damaged by miscreants. Six signboards, installed to direct the way to the minor seminary were damaged in the act.

The incident came to light on Wednesday, June 19.

“We are living in harmony in this place. We did not have any issues with the locals. Still some miscreants have damaged our signboards. They have done the act purposefully. Only our signboards are damaged and all other boards in the vicinity are intact,” said Fr Mark D’Souza, rector, Pallotti Vikas Minor Seminary.

Pallotti Vikas Minor Seminary was inaugurated in Miyar on February 28, 2019.

Two damaged signboards were found fallen on the side of the road in dilapidated condition. A case in this connection was filed at Karkala police station.

Christians are a minuscule, community (2•3%) deeply divided into various denomination's, sects, come from different regions in our nation... They provide invaluable services in education, healthcare n social sector.. The real tragedy is that they neglect thir own, are suspicious n dislike their Christians brethren !!! This is their weakness n downfall..... they will continue to get intimidated n victimised by vandals in our society !!!!!

The State Govt belong to the Vinci Congress and JDS coalition. They thrive on minority appeasement. Why cannot they catch the culprit? Perhaps the culprit is from the minority faction.

please file an RTI whether there was permission from authorities or not and also request how many signboards, poster, banners are hanging around India without permission
also kindly check the party that you voted whether their banners are removed or still lying around.
please update us here once you file an RTI.

    Sir,
    My point was simple.
If it were installed without permission, then it is illegal and you can't cry if it is damaged.

If it is with permission, then strict action should be taken on the culprits!

In Karnataka, though the balatkaris are not in power, they instigate such acts of hate.
If they come to power it will just repeat of the saffron terror that the state and especially the district noticed during the period of 2008-13.

It has become a habit for slaves like you to blame other political party in such incidents. You have double std "if during coilation govt something happen s you blame a particular party and if that particular party comes then also you blame same party. Then what is the use of having Govt of slave party if they can't control the law and order in the state?

Very sad and disturbing in a peaceful place. Looks like this has been done intentionally to disturb peace by some bad elements to instigate trouble. The authorities need to find the trouble makers and punish them as per law.

Jhule Lal, Since you voted to bring your favorite party to power, now relax and enjoy the fruits of thy labour. Politicising this incident here on party lines is an unwarranted effort. By the way there is no rule that one has to vote to your party once in lifetime to attain moksha. You have already crossed what you preach in your comment.
