Congratulations to Fr. (Dr.) Montiero and to Dr. Radhakrishna for their achievements. I am proud to be an alumni of SPC, Puttur. This college has been known not only for top level education, but also for good discipline. (I still have a respectful fear of Principal Rev. Fr. Serrao and Rev.Fr. Castelino). This college has been securing so many ranks year after year because of the teachings from scholars like Fr. Monteiro, Dr. Radhakrishna and many others. VGST grant of Rs.20 lakhs is too little. Even building a decent house in Puttur costs Rs.1 crore. What infrastructure the college can build for Rs.20 lakhs? This is an opportunity for philanthropists to come forward and do justice for this aspiring project. My prayers and good wishes are always stand by with their new ventures.
