Kasargod: Sabith murder case - Sessions court acquits all accused

Kasargod, May 16: Kasargod sessions court acquitted all accused who were allegedly involved in the murder of textile shop worker Sabith (17).

The judgment which was postponed five times, was pronounced on Thursday, May 16.

Anangoor J P Colony resident K Akshay alias Munna (20), Soorlu Kalyangad resident K N Vaishak (22), J P Colony resident Sachin Kumar(22), Kelugudde resident B K Pavan Kumar (30), Konnakkad resident Dhananjay (28) and R Vijesh (23) are the accused who were acquitted.


Sabith

The hearing with regard to the involvement of minor boy, who is a resident of J P Colony, will be held in later days.

Sabith a resident of Meepuguri was hacked to death in J P Colony in Nullipady vicinity on July 7, 2017 by a gang of seven when he was travelling on a bike in the company of his friend Rahis. Relatives of Sabith have said that they will proceed to the high court against the Kasargod sessions court’s order.

    It is time to overhaul our criminal investigation techniques and processes so that they along with the laws lead to punishing the guilty. Otherwise the murderers and cheaters will rule our land and society very soon.

    @Rajesh Mulki,what you are saying is right.what is will rule our land.?They are already doing it.Not Ramraj but banana republic.noone cares ,noone is there to control,simply not controleable.Killing as now was there not there.noone wants to work but loot,,rob, and earn money by killing and force.
