Kasargod: Country-made bombs hurled at residences of RSS and BJP leaders

Kasargod, May 14: Country-made bombs were tossed at the houses Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and BJP leaders within Payyanur assembly constituency on Monday May 13 morning. Payyanur constituency happens to be a part of Kasargod Lok Sabha constituency.

The bomb which was thrown at the residence of Panakkil Balakrishnan from Payyanur Korom, who happens to be a former secretary of BJP Payyanur mandal, fell in front of his house. Although it exploded due to the impact, no one was hurt. Within a short time, two bombs were tossed at the house of Kareyil Rajesh from Korom, who is the Kannur district Karyavaha of RSS. Both the bombs fell near a minor bridge on the road near the house of Rajesh.

In the past also bombs were hurled at Rajesh's house and it was also torched.
