    Dear Police commissioner,

Please see that in bus senior citizens seats should be reserved. I had noticed several times that everybody is using those seats. The seniors were standing. It is the duty of the conductor to see that those seats should not be used by others rather senior citizens only.

First of all, these shrill horns are easily available in the open market and cheap too.
Target the supply first. If its not available, it cannot be installed. Simple as that.
Otherwise it's just a publicity stunt for the authorities.
For over speeding and drunk driving, the penalty has to be high, min Rs 5000 per violation. People understand economics very well. When it burns their pockets, they will behave and respect the law.
Electronic monitoring is also very important, speed cameras, radars etc need to be installed at strategic locations for better implementation of rules.
Lane driving and banning of hand held phones during driving are a few more rules that need to implemented effectively.
Otherwise our roads will continue to be killing zones

Very good work from our Traffic Police. But may request with Traffic Police is WHEN OUR POLICE SIEZE THE HORN AND KEEP FOR INFOMING PRESS , THAT TIME THEY MUST KEEP ONE BULLDOZER AND SMASH ALL THE ITEMS IN FRONT OF PRESS, SO IT WILL BE CONFIRMED THAT POLICE HAVE Destroyed THOSE ITEMS. IT SHOULD NOT RETURN BACK TO THEM AND FINE ALSO POLICE MUST CHARGE.

Why police is removing horns and do a wasteful activity?

Next day all buses will refix it and as usual shrill horn continues.

They have to impose hefty fines who violate this and if there is a repeat violation the fine should double.

First time fine them with a warning. On repeating the same cancel their permit for one month. For serial offenders cancel the permit permanently.

Why not every day random checking of speed and drunk drivers? When the police conducted raid on Easter days is kind of humiliating for Christians. It has to be fair to conduct such activities for the safety of public ongoing basis which will prevent accidents.
