New Delhi, Mar 11: A video posted by the BJP in which Congress president Rahul Gandhi is seen referring Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist as 'Masood Azar ji' has gone viral on social media.
In a video tweet captioned as 'Rahul loves terrorists' of the BJP, Rahul Gandhi is seen targeting National Security Advisor Ajit Doval for releasing Masood Azar back to Kandahar.
However, the BJP in its tweet has claimed that Rahul has more respect for terrorist who was responsible for the recent Pulwama terror attack.
It may be recalled that Congress chief Rahul Gandhi Saturday asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to tell the nation that it was the BJP government which released terror outfit JeM chief Masood Azhar from an Indian jail. Addressing a public rally here in north Karnataka, Gandhi said, "Let Modi make me understand who sent Masood Azhar from Indian jail to Pakistan."
Several BJP leaders have lashed out at Rahul Gandhi. Smriti Irani took to Twitter to say that Rahul Gandhi and Pakistan have one thing in common - their love for terrorists.
Even BJP's Twitter handle posted a video of Rahul Gandhi referring to the terrorist as 'Masood Azhar ji'.
The topic #Rahullovesterrorists has also been trending across Twitter ever since he made the comment.
While several Rahul bashers on Twitter have helped spread the video clip far and wide, it seems that Rahul Gnadhi made the statement in a sarcastic tone, implying that the government had helped Masood Azhar escape the country.
