Vijayapura, Feb 11: Kampli Congress MLA Ganesh, who is accused of assaulting MLA Anand Singh, is hiding in Andaman, revealed home minister M B Patil here on Sunday, February 10.
‘’BJP leaders are protecting him. I do not want to disclose the names of those people,” he added.
“Ganesh has switched off his mobile phone. When he comes to the Assembly, the police will definitely arrest him.” he said.
Ganesh has been absconding since the day he assaulted his fellow MLA from Congress at a resort near here. All Congress MLAS were lodged inside the resort amid fears from BJP of poaching. Anand Singh, who was hospitalized with grave injuries, has recovered since then and got discharged few days back.
