Mangaluru: Khader accuses BJP legislators of cheating public by boycotting budget session

Mangaluru Feb 10: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister, U T Khader, accused BJP MLAs of cheating the people by walking out of the budget session and holding protest.

Addressing media persons here on Saturday February 9, U T Khader said, “Instead of protesting, BJP MLAs should have placed their demands before the assembly speaker if they were dissatisfied with the fund allocations for their respective constituencies.

When asked about BJP MLA, Umanath Kotian's allegation that the government was biased in allocating of funds to constituencies represented by BJP representatives, Khader said, "If that is the case, he could have complained to the speaker. All constituencies including Sullia, Puttur, Bantwal and Beltangady got funds, he observed, and questioned how it is possible that Umanath Kotian did not get any funds for his constituency.

When asked about audio clip released by H D Kumaraswamy, Khader demanded that the union government should take this issue seriously and form a committee to probe in the issue in its entirety.

District Congress president Harish Kumar, district Congress spokesperson, A C Vinayraj, district youth Congress president, Mithun Rai and others were present.

    There should be wild card for those who boycott the session. They should be made disqualified. Once the govt is formed, the ruling and opposion should work together for another five years for the progress of the country. Election should be only after five years.

    However the fact of the matter is that the most of the politicians are power hungry, illegally earn crores of Money and become rich by different means.

    Some of the pathetic and highly distinguishing democratic system we have today is that "service to the common man and country has taken back beat and common man is a silent & helpless mute spectator except casting a vote. Time & again we have been cheated by all political parties".

    They did not wanted to boycott.. they could not face the shame created by Yeddy .. Their leader is not aware of the latest technologies and recording devices.. Their horse trading business not went well... These MLA's were expecting to become ministers as per the horse trade deal... Unfortunately it dont happen.. Poor MLA's forced to hide themselves and also yeddy made them to sell the Pataki they purchased for half price.. haha

    yenchina budget mare..firstly there is no money, only increase fuel and even beer is getting expensive henceforth by hike of state excise duty... Secondly, there is no stability within and every week end up in resort ..

    They are fit for making Galata only. They don't know the value of Assembly and Parliament. Because of Modiji they sit quietly in the house. Before Modiji they did the same type of Galata in Parliament all past days. Now in Karnataka Assembly also no power so they are doing Galata. They want power to loot money.
