Bengaluru: Change in weather - some parts of state receive moderate rains

Bengaluru, Feb 9: Coastal areas and south interior parts of the state received moderate rains from Thursday to Friday.

While Hassan and Belur received two centimeters (cm) of rain, Subramanya got one cm. In the north interior parts of the state, dry weather continued. The mercury dropped in some places in the coastal region and one or two places in south interior region but no appreciable changes in the temperature was noticed in north interior Karnataka.

In one or two places of north interior region and some parts of south interior region, the mercury was more than normal. But the temperature in the coastal region was as usual. The lowest temperature of 13 degree centigrade in the state was recorded at Belagavi airport.

According to the weather forecast till the early morning of Sunday, February 10, there is a possibility or rains with thunder and lightning in one or two places of south interior region. In coastal and north interior parts dry weather will continue.
