Income Tax raid on businessmen in Karkala and Udupi

Udupi, Jan 23: The income tax department raided the residences and offices of entrepreneur, politician Muniyalu Uday Kumar Shetty and crusher owner Joy.

The raids took place in Karkala and Udupi.

The raids were conducted at the same time by officials from Bengaluru, it is said.

Documents in the house of Uday Kumar Shetty at Muniyalu, cashew factory, fish mill and office are being scrutinized.

Raids on other businessmen cannot be ruled out, said some sources.

    This raid is only for names sake or who benefits mostly here?The raider or police?Do they really giveout the amount in numbers ?I dont believe in this raids.we know in India how the clock works.Many have time to hide their black money .and innocent one will be held.

    Not a single bjp leader was raided by IT dept since last four years.. means they are saints...
    I am a bjpian but not convinced by partiality mindset followed by BJP govt. Wait and see ...this attitude will cost BJP party leaders heavily in days to come...

    Why so intolerance Deepak while taking Amit and Baba Ramdev's name?
    I am sure you are aware of Jay Shah's (Amit's son) increase rose higher by 16000%. Similarly Baba's as well after 2014. Still you do not income tax raid on them? Do you wish to join them and loot our Great nation? Think Deepak think. Don't be a Amit-Modi duo puppet.

    please read the article about jay shahs reported financial business.
    do you know the difference between turnover and income.
    he actually made a loss in that,although turnover was high.
    the case is in court.
    and who filed the case?
    jay shah himself.
    He has challenged it to be proved.

    So many IT raids were being conducted on DK Shivkumars premises and what is the final result out of such raids. Nothing out of way or shoddy deals were proved and published. That shows IT raids are taking place on selective targets through special instruction from some top people. No doubts at all.

    Do you know how much it ambani pay per day?even reddy has more than 10000 cr declared income. Wealthy people should spend, as that amount is business for others. If ambani spends 2000 cr, then it's business for others. Not like ita lian mata, who is looting and sending money to ita ly....let the tax authority do its work...
