Kundapur, Jan 15: Miscreants who came in bike threw severed ears and feet of pig in front of a mosque and fled. The shameful incident came to light on Monday late night on January 14 at Nagoor under Byndoor police station limits.

The severed parts were strewn in front of Juma Masjid in Kirimanjeshwar village, Byndoor. Police sources have said that the suspects have been identified through CCTV footage.

It is said that miscreants arrived at about 11 pm on a black Yamaha FZ bike. They had covered their faces and brought the severed parts of pig in a sack. According to the CCTV footage, the miscreants are seen stopping their vehicle in front of the mosque and throwing the sack in the mosque compound before fleeing.

Those who came to the mosque on Tuesday morning saw the parts strewn. The CCTV footage has confirmed the misdeed. Police have identified them as a few youth from Byndoor. A police case has been registered against them at Byndoor police station. Police are on the lookout for them.

Incidents of inciting communal tension had decreased in the coast. Villagers have urged police to arrest the accused before incidents such as this are repeated.

dont react for this incident so that future this kind of incident wont happen. 2 years back some anti-socials thrown skull of a cow on nagabana at bhatkal. since there was no much reaction for that the same people might have tried with different place. if we don't respond to this then automatically this kind of incident will be reduced.

Why some people try to create animosity and communal disharmony among people of different faiths ?
It cannot be justified when senseless people do not carry any value and respect to someone’s religious holy places of worship.
Their hands must get severed (natural act) when & how only time will tell.

Although it is too early to judge who are exactly behind this incident but as we all aware that in india only one section of the community belong to particular fringe groups are engage in such henious activities. Its high time to take action for the majoritarians to bycott such groups from their community.

One more attempt to incite the communal tensions ahead of Lok Sabha elections.

I would like to request all religious community stay united and save our country from falling apart. If this happens again Mosque or Mandir, let Muslim go and clean the temple with their own hands and Hindus does the same to discourage these communal elements.

In the coming days, we may witness more and more hatred in all forms. Kindly stay alert. Don't allow yourself to late evenings and pick the fight for no reason.

True Indian Udipi, there is no need of going to trace the people who eat this meat.Everyone knows this Not only christians ,but many hindu religions too eat this. But thats not the matter here.I ask here why should throw parts of meat in front of Mosque? To put blame on christiens ,to hide their criminel act? They only know.shame on these miscrants. They are a shame to their family, parents. not a ideal to their children.Anyway their bikeNr and footage is there.Police know them and cant be wiped off.Now time to show their face ask sorry to them.It is only bringing more religious enimity .so end htis.let us live in peace.

You will come across a lot of pork shops during a drive through Charmadi from Bangalore. Pork consumption is not confined to Christians only.
Our people need to travel extensively around the world to understand that meat consumption is not necessarily related to a particular religion and belief; except Muslims and Jews.
However, with our limited knowledge of other religion we tend to use the superficial knowledge to create an identity as we are strong Identity based people.
Humble request to Mosque management. Kindly pack those strewn pieces in a plastic bag and leave at the road side. These guys may come back to pick it after having known that it had limited impact.
