Mangaluru: Kinnigoli girl Apeksha Fernandes wins gold in Khelo India

Mangaluru, Jan 14: Apeksha Fernandes won gold in swimming at the ongoing Khelo India Youth Games in Pune on Saturday.

Apeksha Fernandes hails from Kinnigoli in the district. She represented Maharashtra where she resides now.

Apeksha clinched the gold in U-17 girls 400m IM category with the timing of 5.23.36.

 

She is the youngest swimmer to achieve this in national level in the category.
