Mangaluru: Circuit House AC room for VIP dogs - public ridicule on social sites

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Dec 9: In the new air conditioned room that is built for the stay of VVIPs in the Circuit House in the city, four dogs belonging to a wealthy and powerful person from the city of Bengaluru were allowed to take rest. The photos of the canines taking nap in the posh room has gone viral on social sites.

In the posh building of the Circuit House, there are rooms meant for the stay of VVIPs including the prime minister of the country. However, the correctness of providing the same for the stay of dogs belonging to a well-known person of Bengaluru is being discussed on social sites now.

A person from Bengaluru had brought four dogs of German Shepherd breed to the city in order to take part in the two-day Dog Show at the Nehru Maidan in the city that began on Saturday, Dec 8. He had searched for a air-conditioned room in the city for making them rest. However, none of the lodges or hotels allowed the dogs to enter their facility. So the concerned person contacted the PWD officials. It is said that the PWD officials provided the posh AC room in the Circuit House itself to the dogs.

The PWD officers are denying the accusation that they have provided the AC room meant for VVIPs in the Circuit House for the stay of dogs. They are saying that they have not provided any room in the Circuit House for the dogs.

In the company I worked in Saudi, all houses of officers and subordinate staff were fully air conditioned, but for domestic workers, houses were without this facility. In the meantime, company started a Kennel club, where the dogs were provided A/C rooms. Then, one domestic worker went to the management and explained this and the very day, management ordered their houses also to be air conditioned.

I will have no objection if AC rooms are provided to the dogs but if AC rooms are provided to politicians, I will object to that. Dogs are any day better than our politicians. At least dogs are faithful unlike the political rogues.
