Dubai: Zulekha Healthcare marks 25 years of success with 'Super 25’ initiative

Media release

Dubai, Dec 5: Zulekha Healthcare Group launched its latest initiative, ‘Super 25’ aimed at easing the burden of medical emergencies and expenses on residents and visitors to the UAE.

Established for over 25 years in the UAE, the healthcare group continues to uphold its patrons’ health and is well-known for its compassionate care among residents of the UAE.

The six month long programme, ‘Super 25’ was initiated on December 1, 2018 and will entitle new self-pay patients to a free registration and consultation across specialties, as well as provide existing self-pay patients a 50 per cent waiver of the consultation fee. Furthermore, a 25 per cent discount on all other investigations, except consumables and medicines is an added perquisite.

Managing Director, Taher Shams and co-chairperson Zanubia Shams have taken the lead on various community initiatives that directly benefit the masses, and believe that in the present day socio-economic instability, complete health coverage still remains a challenge.

Shams stated, “This is the time of the year when our near and dear ones are travelling to be with us and spend time as a family, including our elders - their health coverage is of utmost importance to us. As part of our commitment to being a responsible healthcare organization, we’re keen to address this simple yet significant element to provide our patients with easy accessibility to affordable healthcare services in the United Arab Emirates.”

Shams added, “We aim to make our patrons feel supported by taking action to meet the need of the hour. We have always believed in the importance of giving back to our communities and this has led us to conceptualize favourable initiatives such as the ‘Super 25’. We are confident that this will help to save patients from the burden of medical expenses.”

The healthcare group has been known to have launched many successful CSR campaigns over the years including offering free health checks to promote early detection and prevention of diseases. In addition, the group provides free second opinion services, night and Friday clinics as well as same day appointment concepts - all patient-centric initiatives recently launched by the hospital and have been well received by thousands of patrons in UAE.
