Mangaluru: ‘Konkan Fiesta’ fun extravaganza enthralls audience

Mangaluru, Dec 3: The spectacular musical extravaganza ' Konkani Fiesta' concluded on a grand note which was held at Mangalore Hills Bondel on December 2, jointly organised by Hera Pinto and Sharath Kumar and Jeevan Gatti from Club Mantra.

This event was organised to raise funds for Riya Foundation, a residential therapeutic home for persons suffering with various disabilities.

People from the district as well as from outside, utilized the opportunity to witness this musical extravaganza with their families, friends. The package of music, dance and fun was enjoyed by them. Lucky draw was also held during the event.





The fest organised under motto ‘Creating good fun for betterment’ aimed to gather all dance, music and food lovers under one roof and celebrate togetherness with joy, cheer and laughter, especially the Catholic community of twin-districts.

The Fiesta was graced by ‘Sun Shine’ brass band, Perampally and ‘Alcatrazz’ a well renowned band which enthralled the audience with their live performances. Audience enjoyed their musical beats and were seen dancing all around.

Konkani Fiesta conducted two online contest namely Baila challenge and Popular family. Baila Challenge was awarded to Votrasi Rockers from Dubai, while Popular family title was bagged by Dalton and family. The winners took away cash prize of Rs 10,000 each. However, the winners handed over the prize money back to the organisers.

More than 1000 people came for the show. Flawless sound and lights were provided by Geetha and Pure Acoustics.

Deepak and DJ Cletus had provided great support towards the show. DJ Royan and DJ Danny were part of the show. 

The popular family and Baila challenge title winners donated the cash prize to Riya foundation.

Elroy and Rupal compered the show.
