Nasir Mohideen of Westline Group receives IERDA Award in New Delhi

Mangaluru, Dec 3: In the 'Indian Economic Development and Social Responsibility', a National Seminar and Award function in New Delhi,  organized by Indian Economic Development and Research Association, the 'Outstanding Achievement Award for Building Infrastructure Development' was conferred on Mangaluru based   Nasir Mohideen, Managing Director of  Westline Group.

The award was presented by Shivaraj Patil , Former Home Minister and Defence Minister, in  a conclave that took place at India Habitat Center, New Delhi.

 

The Indian Economic Development and Research Association Awards choose every year 80 most unique achievers from among India's Medium to Small Scale Enterprises to appreciate and honour their outstanding contribution to the Industry and the society.

Speaking at the Venue, Nasir Mohideen said, “We are surely fascinated to have been identified for the efforts that we have put in the last 7 years. Our flagship project Westline Signature is slowly being recognized and being appreciated by Industry. We also have been invited by High Rise Summit that is being organised in Mumbai in March 2019 to present a talk on the feasibility of high rise structures in tier 2 cities. These are encouraging factors and will propel us to do better in terms of technology and adaption of innovative building methodology. We certainly have a long way to go, but we will get there”

Westline is the company behind the ultra beautiful, contemporary skyscraper Westline Signature dubbed as ‘The Pride of Mangaluru. The building is the proposed tallest tower in South India and is currently under construction spearheaded by MFAR Constructions Private Limited. The project has a team of renowned consultants from India and abroad. The design and planning of this modern building have been praised and applauded across the Industry.

Westline has been featured and valued in Construction Business Today and CEO Insight Magazines for its out of the box approach towards the construction of skyscrapers in tier-2 cities.

The construction of Westline Signature has commenced in May 2017 and the tower is expected to finish by end of 2021.

The function was also attended by dignitaries Mani Shankar Aiyar, Former Union Minister, Justice Bashir Ahmed Khan, Chief Justice and Chairman State Accountability Commission, J&K, Dr Iqbal Singh, Lt. Governor of Puducherry and Vijay Singh, Secretary General.
