Mangaluru: VHP plans meeting demanding Ram Mandir construction on Nov 25

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Nov 13: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) would be holding a mega public meeting led by religious leaders and ascetics at the Central Maidan here on Sunday November 25 with the aim of bringing rightful pressure on the union government to clear the bottlenecks in the way of construction of the temple for Sri Ram by passing a suitable law.

In a press statement, VHP said that the movement aimed at pooling popular opinion for the construction of a grand temple for Lord Ram at His birthplace has been successfully continuing under the guidance of religious leaders and Swamijis since the last several years. "A meeting of the committee of reverred religious leaders and saints which was held at New Delhi on October 5 this year, observing that Hindus have been fighting for Ram Mandir at Ayuodhya since the year 1528, crores of devotees of Lord Ram took part in the movement, and have been eagerly awaiting the construction of this temple, took a decision to pressurize the union government through the people to build the said temple.

The committee has noted that dispute over Ram Janmabhoomi dispute is pending hearing in the Supreme Court and final verdict is getting delayed. Therefore, in order to remove all the hurdles in the way of construction of the temple at Ayodhya, which is revered and worshipped by crores of Hindus, the central government should move a bill in the parliament," it urged. VHP added that the above committee has decided that meetings should be held in every Lok Sabha constituency in the country in this manner to build pressure on the central government to act on this demand.

The said meeting will be held at 4 pm at the Central Maidan here. Earlier, a huge procession will be taken from Ambedkar Circle, Jyothi here at 3 pm to the venue of the meeting. Thousands of devotees of Lord Ram will be taking part in the meeting from various parts of the district," it stated.

VHP said that religious heads, leaders, people connected with management of different Daivasthanas, temples, Bhajana Mandirs, people's representatives and devotees of Ram will urge the central government through the Lok Sabha member here to table the bill for the construction of Sri Ram temple in the next parliament session. It has requested the patriotic people from the district to participate in the meeting in large numbers to rightfully demand construction of Ram Mandir without delay.

Similar programmes will also be held in Udupi, Kodagu and Kasargod districts, which fall under Mangaluru division. The meeting at Udupi will be held on December 2, November 30 at Kodagu, and November 18 at Kasargod, the VHP press statement stated.

These one dozen people from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh overseas wing VHP among them well-known face who runs 'security business' protecting the business in Mangalore are the big time trouble makers exploiting the emotions of majority Hindu.

It is unfortunate that in the previous CM Sidarmaiah government Home Ministry easy going with these elements even after exposure in NAMO Naresh in RTI activist murder case has strengthened them to new 'urban terror'. If the government is reluctant to pursue this case this den would have been crumbled long ago.

As far as Ram Mandir issue timing coincides with the BJP ruled assembly elections should be self-explanatory and wake up call.

In a nation on an average, three infants die every two minutes in India. Amid the stories of India being the fastest growing economy and the rising military power, a report has surfaced, which says India lost over 2.5 lakh children under five years of age from pneumonia and diarrhea in 2016 alone. And India’s record is even poorer than countries like Nigeria and Pakistan, Chad and even Somalia. About 8,02,000 infant deaths were reported in India in 2017, according to the United Nations). In India, 2 million children died of preventable diseases since 2015. In a shocking reminder of Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur, 16 infants have died in a hospital in BJP-ruled Assam within a span of nine days in November. The latest episode comes just a year after more than 400 children died due to non-supply of oxygen at a government hospital in Gorakhpur, a town represented by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Adityanath has since faced a lot of criticism for prioritising vicious Hindutva agenda over improving basic infrastructure in the state.
But PM Modi government instead of utilising the UK funds of 1 Billion pounds spent on Patel statue. Now VHP wants Ram Mandir, when children's are dying for preventable diseases.
The reality of the religious politics of India.

First and foremost Sri L.K.Advani used Mandir as a election agenda for RSS/BJP to win Majority.
Now more than 35 years Thrice BJP backed by RSS came to power in Center and Advani reached 96 not out still in vain.
    People should judge now.

Modi knows he is going to loose 2019 election. Last desperate attempts are Ram Mandir, Name Changing ...But all Indians are not fools as he thinks..May be some r fools & we call them Bhakts. Economy destroyed , Every institution like CBI, RBI, Judiciary r destroyed. Wen poor people r suffering he went ahead with 3000 cr statue. Handed lucrative deals to his adani & ambani friends. Whole India is watching him. Coming assembly election results will be a small dose for him. After 2019 elections he has to look for some other job. If 2014 election was won becoz of him, 2019 election will be lost becoz of his arrogance, absurdity, attitude, audacity, adamance, attrocities & autocracies.

This Ram Mandhir issue is being dragged each day just like any Ekta Kapoor’s TV serial.
Viewers of show keep waiting for the suspense to unfold but regular stills, playbacks, slow motions and advertisements push it for months or year long.
Similarly bhakths are also being fooled by BJP.
Mark my words Ram mandhir will not be constructed before the 2019 election. It is just to keep the bhakths on their toes.
When election nears Modi and his clan will promise of the temple construction in the beginning of next election cycle.
    After all bhakths are ANDH….

    The story continues……. Forever….

Good one an eye opener for all those who make issue out of it.
BJP leaders think seriously, wisely and with a aim to continue such place of worship is built with religious integrity and not out of any political aim. No peace will prevail when place of worship is raised out of communal hatred and based on historical or mythological beliefs. Finally, the interested party should make wise decision.
Even SC may be having a tough time in coming out to justified conlusion.

Now BJP is in power in center , BJP is also having majority in UP. Then what makes them to take a decision to pass a law and start building temple. Even when Babri Masjid demolished nobody permission was taken it was mob work. Similarly a mob can enter the area and start constructing the temple. As UP govt wants this project to happen they will not send police . So why not start the construction now .

Ram Mandir should be built? Well if many in India want and there is consensus Why not?
But, suddenly remembering about the temple in November 2018 really shows how serious are the Who's Who.
Over the years, many things have changed. But identity based on one's faith has still remained.
With the proposed meeting on November 25, can you once and for all discuss and settle the following:
    1. Temple is a place of worship. Temple built with violence can only be a monument under heavy security (cost) and will render itself as tourist attraction. Please decide to bring all the stake holders together and build a temple where people will visit for prayers.
    2. Kindly ensure that temple is built well before elections. Else, you might once again call this meeting exactly 4 years later.
    3. Kindly take pains to educate the blind followers the ideals of Ram and why a temple for him is deserved and also why they should visit it afterwards.
If all of the above 3 cannot figure in your agenda, then also realize that people are far more connected today and are in the information age. They will see through things.

This all a part of preplanned agenda to create vote bank by flaring up the emotions of majority people and as usual this happening as election is nearing. They got the taste of it as there were significant gain for BJP from Ratayatra in the 90s. and the same is used during every election. Why Ram mandir has not been built to end the issue and to concentrate on development issues. This hypocritical politicians and their organizations do not want to build the temple but want to keep the issue alive mainly for vote during every election.
