Bantwal: Two injured due to electric shock in Kolnadu

Bantwal, Oct 24: Two labourers were injured due to electric shock on coming into contact with a live wire here in Kudthamugeru of Kolnadu village on Tuesday October 24.

The injured are Jagadeesha from Nuji Kambalabettu and Praveen from Kojiguri.

The duo came in contact with a live wire while changing old electric wires of a pole in Padaru Kudthikallu. Immediately, they were shifted to Puttur private hospital.

Meanwhile, Mescom officials clarified that though they had disconnected power supply, the duo got injured due to electric shock from the inverter.
