Time has come to demolish all old buildings in Central Market area. These are very old building. They doesn't have any safety, no fire sprinklers, no alarm.. nothing.

Mangalore is in need of well facilitated, clean and safe Central Market with parking facility too.

All old buildings on road side are not maintained properly, we have been seeing these buildings in same condition for almost more than 100 yrs may be now. These buildings have to be demolished and roads have to be broadened. New buildings with modern equipments, electricity supply under ground, foot path, proper drainage with road broadening has to be done. Keep saying smart city does not help.

Very bad news.... few weeks back there was a fire in one Readymade shop in GHS Road adjascent to Kamath & co.. Corporation Officers should pay due attention for these incidents.... Every shop should be checked for electrical wiring and un wanted connections, heavy loads and too much decorative lights... have they got permission to do so and what is the load allotted etc... even gen sets used should be checked and it is placed in a secured way or not...
