Kasargod: Youth taking bath in sea washed away

Kasargod, Oct 15: A youth who ventured into the sea along with friends was washed away by waves. The incident happened on the evening of Sunday October 14.

The victim of this incident was Layees (20), son of Latif from Uppala Gate. It is said that the youth along with friends had visited the seashore at Kanvateertha and was taking bath when he suddenly disappeared.

The fire brigade and police who arrived from Uppala continued the search operations for Layees with the help of locals.
